Applying to the Peace Corps is a
process. A lot of people get anxious about the 'waiting game', myself included. For those interested in serving, or those who are current applicants, I wanted to provide a quick snapshot of my personal timeline for the Peace Corps process. Please keep in mind that when you receive an interview, an invitation, or medical/legal clearance will certainly vary and depend on various factors. I've heard of cases where people have received invitations within hours of having their interviews, while others wait several months. My know-by date was September 1, 2019, which happened to fall around a holiday. The departure date for my cohort is in January 2020.
